Public Works is tasked with enhancing the quality of life by developing and implementing programs for maintaining City Streets, drainage ditches, parks and facilities.
Parks & Recreation
The city of Dayton has over 50 acres of parkland offering a range of parks and recreational assets and facilities that allow for active and passive recreational opportunities for our residents and visitors.
Streets & Drainage
The Street and Drainage Division is responsible for the safe operating condition of city streets, drainage ditches and storm sewers. The Street and Drainage Department also receives, dispatches, investigates, and responds to citizen requests, and responds to emergency requests.
Water and Wastewater
This division of the City's Public Works Department is responsible for providing safe, clean, potable water and sanitary sewer services at the lowest possible cost to our customers.
